Yeah, I just chop up bars of chocolate.
Several stores currently stock Dr Oetkers Continental Chocolate (usually in the baking aisle), which we use for baking (the white one is just yummy chopped up and used in biccies). The Plain one does not have dairy ingredients, but may have traces of milk - not sure if OK for your purposes?

The organic store sells 3 different kinds of plain vegan chocolate.
One is across from the gluten free foods near the freezers (it is very pricey) and the other two are in the aisle near the bakery. *Dubai mall not sure about the location at the Greens*
I have also noticed that in some small supermarkets you can get Greens Organic Chocloate and I think the 65%, 70% & 75% dark may be vegan.
Thanks for the responses. I thought of doing that, but the chocolate bars they had at those stores today had a bunch of stuff in them I didnt want (nuts, berries, rice, and of course milk etc). I just want plain chocolate, never thought it would be such a head ache.

I admire your attention to detail CT!
I just cut up a bar of chocolate in to strips, first lengthways, then widthways to make little squares. Using a big sharp knife it takes about 30 seconds and makes pretty good choc chips.
Geez why didn't I think of that. Much smarter than what I did :)
I am vegetarian not vegan but vegan chocolate is so much nicer to eat and bake with.

I couldn't find any and would be happy to know if someone else has.
I ended up buying a block of chocolate and using a vegetable peeler to make longs strips and then rolled them up.
Then I cut them in half and moulded them into balls.
Fussy but they were for birthday muffins and they turned out well.
