Does anyone know how to transfer an exising visa (expires in 2012) of a maid onto your visa?

Also, if your maid has resigned before the year is out and has already been on annual leave, do you still have to pay for her ticket home? I am not sure of the legalities involved and want to ensure we do everything by the book
