Can anyone help me with the following. My DH finishes work with his current company on 30 June and we will be leaving Dubai permanently. We are going on holidays on 24 June for 2 weeks for Europe (already planned before working arrangements changed).

His work won't pay out his gratuity until his visa is cancelled. We want it paid into our UAE bank account.

Question 1 - if our visas are cancelled in say mid June and we leave the country on 24 June, can we come back through on tourist visas in mid July (we want to come and pick our stuff up). Will we have any problems?

Question 2 - If our visas are cancelled in mid June can the money be paid into our UAE bank account. Will it be able to kept open until we come back through in mid July and empty it and close it? or yet again more dramas?

Question one yes you can providing you have one of the passports that guarantees you a visit visa on arrival Question Two does your DH company inform the bank that it is a final payment being credited to the bank account as some will freeze the account once this payment hits then check if there are any outstanding loans etc. Providing their isn't you will be fine. I would call the bank and confirm though
