I have a cat wandering around my garden, trying to get my chicks food and water....he has a badly infected face and throat and looks really ill. I am thinking about what to do. Do you have a chance to take him to the vet?

I feel sick. Who ARE these people?? WHAT are these people?? It's so upsetting and even worse, nothing seems to be done about it, therefore there's no reason for these poor excuses for human beings to think twice about their truly barbaric actions. Probably people who either regard cats as vermin or just thugs with nothing better to do with themselves. While I was in Doha I watched 2 "local" boys around 4 to 6 years old chasing a family of feral kittens around our compound. I was on my balcony at the time. One of the boys managed to grab a kitten and was about to punch it when I lost it and roared at him. The boys were accompanied by a maid who just watched these mini thugs and grinned at their antics. They didn't live in the compound but used our smooth pavements to belt up and down on their bikes. The boy with the kitten stopped what he was doing much to my surprise, dropped the kitten and ran to the maid's side. She looked up at me and actually said "sorry maam" I told her to take her charges home and teach them to respect defenceless animals. Was half expecting an enraged father to appear but nothing happened!!
