While I wish it were an inconsequential question, it is actually quite important for my family and I as my little boy has eczema and I have always had to use the old-skool Persil non-Biological to avoid getting very itchy/rashy. I had a quick look in a supermarket and couldn't see it, though: have I done the usual blokey thing and not looked properly or is there an alternative which is just as mild?
Love this forum - it's awesome for newbies like me.

I use Filletti - it's a bright pink box and has a picture of a baby on the front. Seems to work just as well with my sensitive skin as Persil Non-bio ever did. DC edited by DohaCheeky on 02/08/2011

Waitrose non bio available in Spinneys is cheaper than Fairy non bio and gret for sensitive skin, other wise look at the organic shop for those nuts you can wash with, very good value and no chemicals at all.

As a family we always used the persil non-bio however, as my fall back, i use Fairy non bio.. available in waitrose and probably other places as well. It washes ok, doesn't make us break out, .. but i must admit, persil is my absolute favourite, and if anyone knows where some persil is... i will be eternally grateful !

I use Nature's Organics, (Australian brand), Eucalyptus liquid, it leaves no residue in the clothes. Only one capful for front loading machines or you'll have too many bubbles!

I have really sensitive skin and am okay using Waitrose brand 'sensitive' -- it doesn't have any fragrance to it which really helps. It has a pink cap. Hope you find something that works!
