Here's the recipe for the white frosting for the black and whites (a New York cookie):
White Glaze:
2 cups powdered sugar
3 tablespoons, plus up to 2 teaspoons hot water if necessary
1 teaspoon corn syrup
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
Or either:
2-3/4 cups of confectioner’s sugar with 5 tablespoons of boiling water and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
I don't usually frost cookies, so I'm not too familiar with what frosting would work for the following: I'm thinking of making banana cookies, completely frost it with nutella , then decorate it with a white fern (to celebrate the ABs!)---would the white frosting for black and whites work/stay on the nutella/ would it make the cookie too sweet?
