When I used to work at the supermarket in England when I was a teenager, this lady used to come in who was an absolute inspiration. Lily, she was 95, about 4ft tall, she had a carer with her but walked round, pushed her own BIG trolley and chose all her own shopping. She would dress immaculately, always in a smart skirt suit, a beautiful brooch, her best earrings, perfectly styled hair and a touch of make up. Always polite, considerate and interested in everyone’s lives. Beautiful. If I can be like her at 95 then I’d be thoroughly content!

helen Mirren looks fab! That's what never having children does for you! ;) Mind you, it's all about diversion of the eye and attitude. Wouldn't want her legs for example but she hides them! What's wrong with her legs?? Thick ankles and calves.

What age are we defining grown up as?? Well they say aging is compulsory but growing up is optional so I guess that it is subjective :)

Agree about Helen Mirrin, she looks great. There is a local lady in our town who at 72 looks amazing and is always on the go. Her hair is pure white but beautifully cut. She dresses fairly casually and little makeup. I have lost weight since coming home and go back to work last week of April so should lose even more hopefully. Some ladies just seem to manage to look good with little effort eh?

Julianne Moore - soooooo beautiful. Oh wait....I think I'm about the same age as her anyway! I agree Sue, she is gorgeous! You've not exactly been hit by the ugly stick yourself though so I wouldn't worry too much ;) Why thank you my dear, but neither have you, so what's all this ugly bus talk!!!!

Me! I am nothing to write home about but as I grow older and greyer I see my parents (now dead) in me more and that is rather a nice way of recalling my dad's eyes or my mum's mannerisms-I just pray my sight gets a little worse so what I see in the mirror looks better!!!! I have no desire to look like someone else-no matter how stunning they may be. edited by wuffles on 06/04/2011

Jacklyn Smith or Sophia Loren. They both look so awesome at their age....aging is definitely not something to be fear of ;) Depends on how much work you get done, I suppose. ;) ** Not that there's anything wrong with that. :D Really?? It's so hard to pinpoint a celebrity that actually grow old without getting any work done on them :( I like the late Katherine Hepburn too. Ahh...that's too bad. Sophia? Actually, not sure about her [and haven't googled so ...'>, but Jaclyn, deffo. Same with Victoria Principal. But despite Jaclyn and Victoria being 'of an age' I think we both know who had the better surgeon! :D

I could do with looking like my mother, whatever else you can say about her, she has always looked slim, elegant and young for her age.
