Hi,

I am addicted to roasted seaweed!

Does anyone know where they may be sold in Dubai?

Thank you,

I buy in AMart (that is on SZR next to MedCare Ortho) and 1004 Mart in Al Barsha. Their seaweeds are reasonably priced and you can choose different varieties.

There used to be a Korean market in the Mazaya Centre in SZR. I don't know if it is still there. But, they used to sell it.

Thank you for your help girls. Since I live in Barsha 1, I will definitely check out the Asian grocer in the area. They're not expensive at all from COSTCO so we'll see how they're pricing them here in Dubai.

Have bought them before from spinneys Umm Suqeim, but totally overpriced (I'm used to buying them from Asia)

There's an Asian (mostly Korean and Japanese) grocery close to our building in Al Barsha 1. It's called 1004 Mart. You can give them a call at +97143234536. :) edited by CrisPC on 07/09/2014

Thank you Jeano for your reply. I will research their nutritional details as I did feel that they're quite salty...

C'four MOE stocked it until recently, it was in a foil bag in the Asian foods section with the Nori sheets etc. I agree, it's delicious but no good if you have hyPERthyroid as it's full of iodine.
