We did this at the end of Sept in Dubai for our Sri Lankan maid ... although I understand that a few of the rules have changed as of Oct. 1. Our process was to FIRST get the employment entry permit. She will need this as she re-enters the UAE. The permit took a couple of days to get and you (as sponsor) or a PRO can procure this with your maid's passport and a few photos. Once you have this sheet of paper, she can fly to Kish, stay for 30 min and fly back to get the new stamp on her entry permit. She can stay in the country as you apply for the entry permit. I didn't book the flight, but if you google Kish Airways, it takes you to their website. As I understand it, you have to go to their physical offices to get the paper ticket (no eTickets available). From Dubai, roundtrip on same day, 2 days notice it was 500 AED. Good Luck!

Hello, I am a first time maid- sponsor (at leat I hope we can handle everything in the next days :o) ). We have find a maid who is here on a tourist visa. AD immigration told me today I can't change it into a work visa and she needs to leave the country ( 3 weeks ago they told me I can change it into a work visa but need to pay a fee of 500 DHR ??? I should record these calls ;o). So I need a flight to Kish for her, if I got it right , then my hubby needs to go to immigration in AD, need to apply for a entry permit or work visa, which he will hopefully get immidiately and then she can come back again and we can start the real residency process, right????? f that is correct, does she already need to be out of the country before my hubby applies for the work visa, that means one day earlier or can everything be done on the same day? Where can I book the Kish flight and where do we need to place the work visa for her that she can come in again? Thanks very much in advance any information.
