Tchibo is awesome and I really think Brands for Less is one of my favorite stores in Dubai. They have winter stuff year round and low prices too. Brands for Less is like leftovers, markdowns, out of season, etc so they don't always have boots and coats and I don't think they have much besides sweaters now but maybe next time.... I have bought really nice wool coats and branded boots there, adults and kids.

North Face and Columbia for jackets, fleece, undergarmets, warmers, gloves, boots etc etc. I climbed Kilimanjaro in sumer time and got every single item from them. Oh and Adventure HQ! I now re-use most of the items when i go to Europe in winter time (for example, North Face tri-climate jackets are with removable layers)

Try Theibo---know that |I have really messed the name up -- but also some stores known as Brands for Less Theibo is in a number of malls, Ibn Battuta, Oasis Center, Outlet Mall, and I am sure some others. Brands for Less are located in Satwa, Dierra, and a newish one close to the Mall of the Emirates. Selection and sizes can be hit or miss, but I have bought many cold weather clothes from there over the years and for good prices. It's Tcheibo They also hVe a store in outlet mall.

Bought hubby a jacket from the big LuLu in Karama back in February as he went to London for 4/5 days. It was 60 dhs and he says it kept him pretty warm. Not sure if they would have any now... Coz back in February everyone had sales on their winter stock. Checking sacoor or other stores in outlet mall might be fruitful also.
