Other alternative is to poor families in Egypt, Check this https://www.facebook.com/#!/event.php?eid=257867674241977 Another event that took place today to Somalia https://www.facebook.com/#!/event.php?eid=107458499354490 yet you can call them and check if they still accept more...

During Ramadan, there is always a charity tent set up right behind the mosque at Safa Park which takes all donations. There is a parking lot around the corner there at the light (going towards Jumeriah Beach Road) there by Lloyd's Bank. You'll see the tent. Pull up and the guy on duty will help you empty your car and, if he is not there, you can leave it next to the tent as neatly as possible. Make sure things like clothes and toys are boxed or bagged and not exposed as much as possible, but they don't turn anything away. Tent will be removed at end of Ramadan.
