Used to live in Al Ain, beautiful place for a weekend away, yes it is hotter - can be in the 50's at this time of year but is a nicer heat as there is no humidity like Dubai, places to stay Rotana as mentioned, Hilton, Intercon (changed names now) and of course Jebel Hafeet which is at the top of the mountain - my personal favourite and the childrens. You do have the zoo and Hili fun city but a little hot at this time of year, although the zoo is open till midnight I think

i was there last weekend and it felt no hotter than dubai temperature wise. psychologically it always feels so refreshing to me, even in 45 degree heat because of all the greenery - it's worlds away from dubai. Just my opinion - i love al ain as you can probably tell :)

dont you think it will be too hot there....compared to al ain or jebel e hafeet where the temp MIGHT be lesser? Al ain is usually hotter than the rest of Dubai isn't it?
