We're regretting not having had DEWA as part of the housing package, particularly since the recent price rises, our bills are quite high at the mo, dread to think what they'll be in the summer. And bear in mind that the "housing fee" comes off your DEWA bill as well - you could at least try to get that as part of your housing package. very interesting. i'll try to manage that now.

We get one check each year for the rent. It's up to us to use it however we which. The check is expected to cover DEWA expenses as well. Same and given my DEWA bill has never been more than 400aed per month including housing fee I am happy with it.

Company pays up to a maximum of 30,000 k per annum (I think !!!!, maybe it's 40k). If it is exceeds that, we pay the difference at the end of the year.

If it's part of the package. If it's not then they're under no obligation to pay it. As far as I know most companies do not pay their employee's DEWA bills.
