Hi ladies, i'm 33 + 2, my first pregnancy. I have a couple of questions. Until now i didn't get that dark line on my stomach, the pop-out belly button or any stretch marks. i guess i'm kind of hoping they wont come now as they haven't come already but is there still a chance they will? I've already gained 14/15kg in the pregnancy. I'm super excited that I didn't get stretch marks but my friends say there's still time. Surely if i haven't gotten them after a 15kg weight gain I wont get them in the last 4/5 kg to gain? Is this just wishful thinking?

I haven't got any stretch marks until the last 8 weeks. That's when I put on most of my 15 kg extra weight too. until than I looked like a 'non' pregnant from behind and I turned around with a huge belly...it was kinda funny. Well the 15 kg extra weight just got more after started breastfeeding :-)) and i still have the stretch marks. My little boy is 19 month old now, and worth every stretch marks, Extra weight. Ohhhhh yes, and I forgot to mention, the extra huge breasts, that I gained with breast feeding, but now that breast is not full with milk......well you can imagine ;-)), still it worth everything!!!

I gained between 20 & 25 kgs each pregnancy and have no stretch marks at all. You might be lucky, but if not, as the other ladies say - wear them with pride - that's what I do with my muffin top, flabby butt, saggy boobs ha ha ha

My belly button popped out super early with both my babies, like 25 weeks or even earlier I think. I had a lovely linea nigra with my first pregnancy but sadly didn't with my second, I kinda missed it. I didn't get a single stretch mark either time, and never bothered with creams, I think it's down to how stretchy your skin naturally is, not how much weight you gain. I find all these "battle scars" sort of sweet though, like my c section scar, they tell a story.

I have two children, and got all my stretch marks with both in the last 3-4 weeks. I also gained much more weight with my first and still got MORE stretch marks with my second, as I gained and held the weight differently. I gained my weight all over with my son and gained it all in the belly with my daughter. I also got the dark linea nigra line with both my sugars;) but it goes away completely after a couple of weeks post delivery:) I started noticing the line in the last 8 wks I believe. I can say that getting stretch marks with both, they are not so bad:) Once you get back to feeling like yourself again, with any luck you'll hardly notice them.....and even so, a very small price to pay for such Blessings :)

I got mine after 36 weeks -And when I got them I got them bad :( Mostly on the underside of my belly, and around my thighs. I had a c-section and had massive water retention and swelling afterwards, my legs looks like tree stumps and I ended up getting some after the delivery, down the inside of my legs and under my arms... I know It sounds bad, it was. Thankfully they've lightened up... but i am self conscious about the ones on my legs :(

I didn't get any stretch marks during pregnancy nor did I ever feel itchiness over my belly. My belly button never popped out. I got very few light stretch marks few months after the delivery. My mum never had them even after two babies.

I never got the popped out belly button or the dark line. But I did get stretch marks on lower tummy that didnt appear until after baby came out! So annoying. They are only faint though. Keep up with the lotions and oils daily.

In my experience it's the last month of pregnancy that really takes it's toll on your body. You might be lucky and not get them but as Meagle said, totally worth it if you do.

Unfortunately, it's likely wishful thinking. I had the same thoughts with my pregnancy with my son. Didn't gain too much. Wasn't overly huge. Didn't see any late in pregnancy. Out pops baby... And I soon notice them on the underside of my belly where I couldn't have seen them while pregnant even if I wanted. Just got more with my second. IMO totally worth the marked up belly and I still rock a bikini. :) LOL! Really? Ya i'm not too bothered about it, just ****** dying to see my baby at this stage! Did you gain extra weight in your second pregnancy? I thought they'd be done with the first! Guess i'll go check my belly with a hand mirror now :p
