Has anyone had a C-section in Dubai or Abu Dhabi? I am currently living in Abu Dhabi and as I had my first baby by C-section in Japan, I will deliver the second baby by C-section. I am not sure how the medical condition is here. If anyone has any recommended doctor/hospital for the C-section in Abu Dhabi or Dubai, could you provide the information? Thanks in advance!

Hi ladies, Im now 29 weeks and started thinking seriously about the delivery. Have anyone of u here had a natural delivery with epidural at Belhoul specialty hospital? Are they good in putting it there? I heard a lot about it in general and as I hear its not painful with it at all but I also hear that its hard to deliver with it cos u cant really feel how much ur pushing and it can delay the delivery. I will be so happy to read ur experiences. Thank u.

you can still have a natural birth despite having a c-section the first time and it is much better for you and baby if there are no complications. Research VBAC! Good luck.

just because your first was a c section, doesn't necessarily mean you HAVE to have another c section if you don't want to, in case you have been told otherwise. It's entirely your choice.

I had my c section a few months back with Dr Ibrahim at city hosp in dubai. Very professional and much better than the first time in England, The after care was great and my recovery has been very quick.

Thanks in advance! for any birth in abu dhabi i would go for the corniche hospital, its the best place there, they have the best neo-natal etc etc and if you deliver in any other hospital and do have complications you will be transfered to the corniche if there is room! and you have to contend with traffic too!>

I had a c section 18nov12 with Dr. Elsa at City Hospital in Dubai and she was fantastic. It was my second, the first being in the US and I had a far better experience here with her. Seriously love Dr. Elsa and it was easy as pie with her...;)

I also had a CS two years ago. Delivery was at Welcare Hospital with Dr Jennifer Karsisky and she was amazing! Not very good paediatricians though at the hospital ...

I just had a c section last week in Dubai. My dr is dr Ekaterina and she's based out of infinity clinic. The hospital I delivered in was al garhoud private hospital and it was a really good experience. My other two were natural but I find this was a lot better than I thought it would be. No stitches or staples either. Mine was glued.
