Bump is confirmed as a girl, so what ever she 'saw' at 12 weeks was obviously right. :) My online shopping has started, parcels galore arriving at my house in the UK, hehe!
Thanks TBD, I bought all sorts of bits in the UK, just kept it to the basics for now and when I go home again early next year I will get the pram and anything else I can carry! I paid for an extra case this time, and hubby never gets much space in our cases when we go back to the UK! Much better choice and value for all shopping there!
We had our scan at 12+1 just a week or so ago and we were told she thought girl but told us not to go out pink shopping just yet. Based on my own gender predictions using the 'nub theory ' it also indicates girl. Bit disappointed she was not able to be more certain as I'm in the UK this week and was dying to do the bulk of my shopping, but alas I'm buying white and the basics for now as it's sods law if I buy pink it will be a boy. It's all good though as baby seems to be healthy and bouncing around happily which is of course the most important thing. We have our next scan early Nov at 16 weeks and she said she should definitely be able to tell us then, let's see!
I was told at 12 weeks that there was an 80% chance that I was having a girl. I ended up having a girl. That was the earliest I found out though with all four of my pregnancies.
We got told boy at 12 weeks and ended up having a girl. It's actually emotionally quite difficult being told the wrong gender as you end up having to grieve the baby that never was. We actually wanted a girl but after being told otherwise I began to think of my baby as a little boy, had a name in my head, was imagining him playing with his brother etc. not to mention even after the 20 week scan was 100;% girl (they even showed is the lady bits in 3d) I was always a bit uncertain right up until she was born. So personally I wouldn't ask them to guess the gender until they can be more sure, it's not worth it and I wish I hadn't.
