Hi ladies! Thanks for this website, it’s very informative! I live in Perth, Western Australia and my husband works in Dubai for part of the year. We have been ttc for nearly a year, and have a 5 and 3 year old already. I am nearly 41, things are taking a lot longer than we would like. I’ve been to fertility specialists here and they’ve recommended Clomid, the only problem is that I will be in Dubai in 2 weeks to visit DH and the FS won’t prescribe it without doing all the blood tests etc. which will take too long and I will miss the window I actually have with DH.

I have been told that you can get Clomid over the counter in Dubai, is that correct? It would mean I could take it days 5-9 and would be in Dubai until CD 26 which would be perfect. Does anyone know if I can just walk in to a chemist and buy it?

The later you take Clomid the later you will ovulate and the more mature the egg will be. The earlier you take it the earlier you will ovulate but you may release more eggs. I also ovulate on my own but was still having trouble conceiving so I started taking Clomid ❤️. My insurance co. wont cover Clomid, so I get it online to save money. I went to another forum and found this keyword * CLO4PREG * ❤️. You can search it on Google to find the reliable source. I did like 5 or 6 rounds (5-9) and nothing so I switched to cd 3-7 and got my BFP right away, now 12 weeks. Hope this helps.

hi twitchy, be careful when self-administering clomid yourself... you could over stimulate your ovaries, or even cause damage to them. as you've said, you'll need bloods done to ensure it's working properly. i know time is your biggest concern... i haven't used it myself but generally you can get things easier here over the counter. if you have a previous prescription from an oz doctor you may be able to bring it with you to show to the pharmacists?
