Hi there everyone & congrats to you all on your wonderful baby news. I relocated to Dubai from the UK in June and we pretty much found out I was pregnant the day we relocated (it was quite an emotional goodbye to family & friends!) I am due on 17th Feb 2014 and this is our 1st baby - so everything is totally new. I seem to be obsessing over everything - hope this is normal!! By default I started out with Dr Hammami at Saudi German Hospital as he confirmed my pregnancy, however now I have decided I would like to try and go as natural as possible for the birth (signed my hubby and I up to Hypno-Birthing classes with Jasmine Collins in October). I started to feel my former Dr did not want to follow my birth plan particularly so I have now changed Drs to Dr Christian Josza - and he delivers at City Hospital. I don't work - I was planning on working when we arrived but the 1st trimester was particularly bad for me so I was forced to turn down a great contract role I was offered here and rest instead. I would be really interested in meeting up for coffee with anyone, especially those of you who are not working at the moment and have lots of free time! I live in downtown. Hello ladies, I haven't been on here for a while as I was in the UK over summer. I'm now due 28th Jan, but I thought I'd post in both threads as I am pretty sure I will have baby in February! This is my second, our first is a boy and was born in Dubai last year. He's 16 months now. I also live in Dubai Marina, lleeaa sounds like we live very close as I am also opposite the yacht club! I'd be really keen to meet for a coffee at some point. I made a good group of friends with my son through this forum and would be amazing to start a little group for number two too :-) I'm free most afternoons and also evenings/weekends. Mornings are a bit harder as I have my son with me and he's at the age where he wants to get down and explore! Hope to hear from you soon.

Works been a bit all over the place recently so wasn't able to go to the coffee morning today - did you go torjetaylor? I'm back in the UK next week but will hopefully attend the coffee morning the following week and also a walk too lleeaa if you'd still like? I'm still pretty active so no probs for me to come to you....although who knows what will happen in 2 weeks?!

JZJunior/lleeaa, I'm in..guess I need to get used to waking up early anyway! :D AnonDubai, we were also told at NT scan (I was measuring 13w) by the tech that she was positive it was a girl...but I know that is really early so also not buying anything pink until I get it confirmed at the next big scan.

AnonDubai, girl for us :) Already have a boy and both grandmas wanted a girl the first time around so great news for them when we tell them over the weekend. At 13wks we were told it s 75% girl so can relate to some mums on here that it does not mean very much, but got confirmation through a DNA-based test for abnormalities that can also pick up on the gender :) This week starting to clear away tight-fitting non stretch clothes from my wardrobe so hopefully I can see what clothes I have and avoid those 'nothing to wear' crises :) Elderflower, how old is your first?

Torjetaylor, I m going to Real (JLT). I was told by doctors that the 2 really good studios for pilates were Real & Exhale. For me Real is simply more convenient. Only Exhale has prenatal YOGA though. JZjunior, still cycling? Cool!:-) Let s say on Tue morning e.g. ? Where are you in the Marina? I m next to The Quays property...

Yes! Let's meet up! I'm free during the weeks so one of the coffee mornings in the Marina would be good for me (I'm only in Media City). Also free some weekends as well. When is everyone else available? lleeaa - how did you like pilates? I'm more of a yoga person; was planning to start here in a couple of weeks. Which studio are you going to? Ladies on here have recommended Exhale.
