I don't think the spots are big enough to be hives from my expert opinion gained from google! We don't have any antihistamine - but I used sudocrem. I noticed the one on her chin at the end of last week but thought it was a scratch - then this evening as I was taking her to the bath she was really complaining about being itchy and I saw that there were more. She is asleep now so will see what she is like in the morning. Fingers crossed! Really hope its not chicken pox because I haven't had it either! But am now imagining loads of itches all over me now! Thanks fairycakemum!

DS was vaccinated too but Dr diagnosed chicken pox for him when similar thing you explain, happened. He only had about 20 spots but another friends little boy, also vaccinated was covered head to toe. Definitely take to Dr if you are worried. Hope she isn't in too much discomfort.

Could be hives? Did they come up very quickly...? My dd gets them so did I when I was pregnant...have u got a children's antihistamine ? So if it's an allergy or hives etc that will help, if it isn't the antihistamine won't hurt her. You can still get chicken poxs even though uve had the injection against it. If worried take her up the hospital .

DD has itchy red bumps on her body. Some on her back, her bum, her neck, behind her ears, some in her hair, on her face. about 20 in total. Small red bumps that are itchy, one of them she has scratched and broken the surface of the skin so it seems to be a bit weepy. Does anyone have any ides what it could be? She has been vaccinated against chickenpox and also does not have any other symptoms although she has now started saying that her throat hurts. TIA
