Hiya-I'm using a big curly C shaped one, was on offer aed134 at centre point moe and it very comfy....supports neck, bump and knees really well. Only slight issue is rolling over in the night but as I now find it so comfy I don't roll as much ( if u roll, you have to move it with you and put neck support under neck or leave where it is and change which leg is on top...if you get what I mean). Sounds complicated but it's not. Only tricky bit is, when I'm not using it, cat thinks its his personal catbed so have to turf him out (he's not impressed-lol).

Any more thoughts on pregnancy pillows? I am ready to try anything but it is difficult to know which shape to choose when it isn't really obvious why they are different shapes... Any further recommendations for the dream gennii or any of the other ones? Thanks!

i also have the dreamgenii and have totally relied on it since week 24 of being pregnant. Its been the most essential thing during my pregnancy hands down as would not have been sleeping so well without, it really supports back and belly. i guess it depends on each woman s shape though as others seem to do well without one, but for me my back was really pulling without it and I would wake in real discomfort several times a night. it cost abt aed 250 i think and really well worth investing in. you can buy from mamas and papas and also from destination maternity.

http://www.dreamgenii.com/, I tried 2 or 3 before settling on this one, I was about 6 months pregnant before I discovered this pillow and I really wished I'd got it a few months earlier, it is a J shaped pillow and really made a difference, if you can get hold of one and have it sent over it really will be worth your while.

One of the ladies on expatwoman recently very kindly gave me hers - its a long U-shaped one and very comfy for sleeping..altho DH has been complaining that it is replacing him:) I also bought a small wedge shaped one from Mothercare to use for my office chair at work..its small but it really makes all the difference! Good luck..we pregnant women need all the comfort we can get..

I just used one that DH bought at the Home Centre (I think) to put in between my knees. It is a small rectangular pillow with 2 convergent C's that I propped against my knees when I went to sleep as my knees are quite bony and they always rubbed against eachother at night. Problem is that I lost it every single night. Other than that I also had a V shaped pillow I bought at Mothercare to support my bump in bed. Again, I never seemed to be able to keep it - in the mornings (or whenever I woke up during the night) it would just appear on the floor or on DH :)
