Has anyone been out shopping for maternity clothes lately? I popped into H&M because last time they had such lovely stuff, but this time I've gone in there just Tuesday night and they have a stack of winter gear already!?

What the!?!? Too hot!!!!

Anywhere got nice summer stuff?

Just got the FB notice and it will be held Wednesday, 21 Sept. It looks like it will have pre-loved maternity clothes and some baby clothes. I just saw a Facebook post from my ex wardrobe saying they are going to do a maternity clothes event this month. May be an opportunity to get good clothes cheap.

I had a look in Dubai mall and moe but debehams aren't stocking Dorothy Perkins or forgotten other brand ... Doh anyway I loved their maternity section last time :( did get pair of jeans, top and dress from destination maternity which i needed for wedding and hens night when we go bk to oz nxt week. Loved some of the stuff in there but seriously, 750 add for a top???? Get real!!! Way out of my budget. Think I will do rest of shopping in oz given they are heading into summer. I am currently uk 14 I think, some of it is too big, some of it (from h&m esp) won't get over my thighs!!! The end stuff I had last time fits ok but coz I didn't have much I wore them so much they do look rather tattered. I also want to look nice. I am generally a bit more Tom boyish in what I wear. About the place but really not liking that much and wanting to jazz myself up a bit. See what oz has to offer :)

They are quite short - far too short for me and my cottage-cheese legs! But you're welcome to try them on anyway.

I have an entire wardrobe and then some of lovely maternity clothes - mostly sundresses but also tops, skirts etc. I have been meaning to sell them but have not yet gotten around to cataloging everything since the baby arrived. If you are interested, I will get my act in gear and send you a list of what I have - I will have time now that the older kids are back in school tomorrow! It is all from shops in the US, UK, France and Australia.

I'm in the UK :(. What size are you? I have three brand new pairs I ordered online from New Look that wouldn't fit around one leg, let alone the vast expanse that's now my backside, so you're welcome to those if you think they'll fit. I think - offhand - they're 12 or 14 UK but cut seriously on the small side (or so I'm telling myself). Alternatively, if you want to order a couple of pairs online and have them sent to me here in the UK I'm happy to bring them back for you. Thanks Dubaicat, that is very kind of you. I am a size 12 currently but must say the rear is also expanding... putting that down to breastfeeding reserves. Hubby off to the uk next week will order online and have it delivered to his hotel. Thanks for the tip. When you're back I could try your shorts and buy them off you.... although, how short are they? Pregnancy gives all new meaning to cellulite!

oooh where did you find shorts? I am now officially out of mine and require them for work. Still too hot to wear jeans which funny enough still fit. I'm in the UK :(. What size are you? Yep, I have been today in H&M and everything was winter! I manage to buy a pair of black trousers for work which were not too warm. Max in Ibn Battuta Mall has the cheapest maternity cloths in Dubai. It is true that it is not the best quality, but as I am showing already at 9 weeks and I don't know how many new cloths I am going to need during the whole pregnancy (my intention is to work until delivery) so it works fine with me for shirts and t-shirts. Even in the no maternity section I bought "big" t-shirts that do the job. More suggestions are more than welcome!

I have, but i have to admit, my shopping has been limited only to bottoms. I have bought regular tops just made sure they were a litle stretchy and longer. All bottoms are available at Dest. Mat and I have found that the belly band, the stretchy fabirc one, is my best friend. It helps me wear all of my other clothes (bottoms) that are not maternity. Happy Shopping!!!
