Al Quoz Area Guide

The Al Quoz community is a mix of commercial and residential sectors that is well-connected to other parts of Dubai via the Al Khail and Sheikh Zayed Road

Al Quoz is a segregated residential and industrial district in Dubai that is split into four sub-communities: the commercial side can be found in the southwest side while accommodation is located in the northeast area.

A popular choice for singles and small families for low-cost living, more so for those who work in any of the offices in the neighbourhood. The district is not as densely populated as other commercial/residential mixed areas in Dubai.

The manufacturing stretch of Dubai is made of active clusters of auto shops, factories, and labourer accommodation, where you will frequently find yourself in a maze of identical-looking buildings, shipping containers, and transport lorries and trucks.

What once was a district dedicated to manufacturing has, in the last few years, been transformed to host some of Dubai's thriving cultural scenes, largely attributed to the low-cost rent in Al Quoz. On top of affordable housing, people will find that Al Quoz features a series of art exhibitions, events, street festivals, boutique shops, cafes, entertainment, and performances.
