When is the Eid Al Fitr public holidays?
After Ramadan, the first public holiday in the UAE will take place for Eid Al Fitr from Ramadan 29 to Shawwal 3. It's possible that residents will enjoy a long weekend of up to five days! The Eid Al Fitr break is expected to fall on Saturday, April 30 to Wednesday May 4, 2022 and work/school will resume on May 5, and it's subject to the moon sighting.
Eid Al Fitr might be the longest break for UAE employees this year.
When is the Eid Al Adha public holidays?
Following Eid Al Fitr, the next UAE public holiday will happen on Saturday, July 9 until Monday, July 11 for Eid Al Adha. The Day of Arafah is expected to take place on Friday July 8, the day before the Eid Al Adha 2022.
When is Islamic New Year 2022 in the UAE?
It's quite likely that Islamic New Year or Hijri New Year will take place on Saturday, July 30, so employees who have shifted to the new Saturday-Sunday might lose their public holiday.
When is Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) birthday 2022?
The same might apply for Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) birthday on Saturday, October 8, which is already a weekend for government workers and many private companies who have moved to a Monday-Friday work week.
When is UAE Commemoration Day in 2022?
