With the five-year multiple entry tourist visa to the UAE, visitors will be able to remain in the country for a maximum stay of 90 days during each trip to the emirates.

The new visit visa category was announced by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, earlier this year in March.

Who can apply for the 5-year multiple entry visa?

The five-year multiple entry visa to the UAE is open to all nationalities, as part of the government's plan to "strengthen the UAE’s status as a global economic capital".

How to apply for the 5-year multiple entry UAE visa?

Documents required:

  • Passport copy.
  • Medical insurance.
  • Bank statement from the past six months.
  • Coloured photograph.

How much is the tourist visa cost?

The five-year tourist visa costs AED 650.

Where can I apply?

Once you've collected all your documents, submit them for application through the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) website, HERE.

You will be asked to pay AED 650. Once your UAE visa application is approved, you will receive the electronic visa in the email ID you used in your application.

Kindly note that not all applications for the five-year multiple entry visit visa will be approved. It's up to the UAE's immigration authority to give the visa to the individual or not.

Can I extend my stay in the UAE beyond 90 days?

Yes, visa-holders can extend their stay in the UAE. To do so, you must apply for an extension through the ICA website.
