News reports have been teasing us with cooler weather for a couple of days and now winter has finally arrived in the UAE and residents are gladly welcoming temperatures as low as 21 degrees Celsius.
Walking around during the weekend, you could hear everyone making remarks about how great the weather was outside during night time. Usually residents only start noticing lower temperatures in the UAE from October but according to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) winter has come early this year.
The NCMS have recorded much lower temperatures across the UAE today with Jumeirah dropping to 31.2 degrees Celsius, Abu Dhabi to 29.2 degrees Celsius and Al Ain to 21.5 degrees Celsius.
Minimum temperatures of 24 - 31 degrees Celsius can be expected along the coast this week and temperatures of 20 – 29 degrees Celsius in internal and mountain areas.
