The UAE Cabinet announced the holiday will begin on Sunday, June 2nd, with work resuming on Sunday, June 9th. This means Public Sector can enjoy a week-long holiday.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has announced that Eid Al Fitr Holidays will begin on Monday, June 3rd. This falls on 29th day of Ramadan and runs until 3rd of Shawwal, with work resuming on 4th of Shawwal.

Eid Falls on the 1st day of Shawwal which depends on the moon-sighting, which could either be June 4th or June 5th.
