Why Should You Consider Plastic Surgery?
It's a question both the Snow Whites and Prince Charmings around the world are asking today. Plastic surgery is gaining popularity as people today want to live long and live young. What do you say?

I see nothing wrong with that, it’s an opportunity. Surgery and treatments today are giving people a choice to not live an unhappy, depressed or compromised life. I want to live long, so I exercise every day and eat as healthy as possible. To look young, leave age behind, I take a surgeon's help.

What are the latest trends in plastic surgery today?

Earlier it was about getting rid of the stubborn fat, or simply bigger breasts, larger lips, a flat stomach or I don’t like these wrinkles. Sculpturing and contouring are gaining popularity and are what most patients want. The consumer is asking for more; they want their bodies contoured to their liking. They ask for a particular shape be it their waist, nose or breast. With the advancement of technology, fortunately, it is possible. I have multiple and the latest tools and machines to assist me with my procedures. Be it 4D or 3D liposuction using Vaser or other ultrasonic based machines, to the most recent non-surgical body contouring machines. I even use a software – Crisalix, I think I am the only one to have the complete solution in UAE. With the help of it, I am able to advise patients about expectations from the surgery.

Social media has played a crucial role. In the world of ‘selfies’, everyone is conscious of their look. But is that a good thing?

There is a line to everything. One should be conscious of their looks, as it defines them and in many situations defines how people interact with them. It’s no truth that an attractive man or women will have it easy. However, there is a lot more than just looking good. A personality. I will never advise surgery to change people’s life, I always suggest and insist my patients to explore their thoughts and identify the real need for choosing a procedure. It will only change the looks and not their personality.

BROTOX, how popular is it?

Brotox is Botox for men. I do it. You may say I have to, as I am a plastic surgeon. But it’s surprising how over the years many of my female patients have convinced their husbands to consider Botox. I think women are the largest contributor to opening up this for men, it’s they who taught us to continue looking young and good.  Approximately 25% of my Botox patients are men. It’s getting popular.
