“Relaxed” and “dental appointments” are words rarely heard in one sentence. Don’t we all wish we could actually loosen up at our dentist’s office? You’ll be happy to know that our team at Dr. Michael’s can help you experience a dental visit unlike any you have had before – one that’s comfortable, painless and stress-free.
Sedation dentistry is a wonderful solution to help anxious patients cope with the many reasons of avoiding their dentists. At Dr. Michael’s, we are ready to listen to your concerns, fears and preferences. Together, we can create a dental plan designed for your individual needs.
Our clinics provide brilliant sedation options for your oral care, including inhalation sedation (laughing gas), oral sedation, intravenous (injection) sedation and general anaesthesia. We will help you choose the best and most comfortable option to help improve your oral health.

Who gives the anaesthetic?
General Anaesthesia or GA means being “put to sleep”. General anesthetics are administered by an anaesthesiologist. An anesthesiologist is a doctor with specialist training and is an expert at looking after patients while they are under anaesthesia. The anaesthesiologist stays with the patients during the entirety of the dental procedure or operation, carefully monitoring him or her.
Our specialist anaesthesiologist Dr. Nina Regenbogen, along with our dentists, will help you make the best sedation decision for you or your child. Dr. Nina has years of dedicated experience in dental anaesthesia for patients of all ages. She is also an expert in obstetric anaesthesia, infants and children anaesthesia, out-patient anaesthesia, pain management and intensive care medicine. She was previously the consultant for the Anaesthesiology and Intensive care at the Asklepios Paulinen Klinik and Dr. Horst Schmidt Kliniken Hospital in Germany.
We invite you to visit our team in our clinics before your scheduled procedure. Dr. Nina and our specialist dentists will be delighted to talk to you about your specific concerns.
