Everyone also tends to leave their Christmas shopping for the last minute
With Christmas just around the corner, it’s not unusual to see people still finalizing (or starting) their Christmas shopping.
And while most don’t want to leave it till the last second, it’s inevitable with busy schedules, family, work and more.
So if you’re just starting your shopping, you’re not alone.
A new study, by retail firm Picodi, has found that the majority of people who celebrate Christmas in the UAE only start buying their presents till the very last minute.
Only 15% have been found to buy their gifts in advance and the rest start sometime in December.
But that’s not all the survey found – it also measures how much people spend on Christmas gifts during the festive season and it found this out:
People in the UAE tend to spend around AED1,600 around Christmas time.
People in the UK tend to spend around AED1,837 around Christmas time.
Coming up at the top of the list, people in the Czech Republic tend to spend around AED1,877 around Christmas time.
And if you like to leave your shopping till the SUPER last minute, then you'd better hurry up!
