A Fabulous Morning with L'Occitane and ExpatWoman
A Dazzling Festive Season is upon us, and what better way is there to get into the holiday spirit than spending the morning with #ExpatWoman from Dubai and timeless French cosmetics brand L’Occitane en Provence?

Since 1976, L’Occitane, a chic French brand that has always provided us with beautiful hand creams (perfect stocking fillers), scented candles, skin care and fragrances.

Though many of us recognise their logo, do you know how to pronounce their name?

We've been saying it wrong for years, but we're happy that we now pronounce it the right way!

Fifty #ExpatWoman members were invited down to their beautiful store and spa down at JBR The Walk to have a look at L’Occitane's amazing range of products. A fabulous morning was spent being absolutely spoilt. There was mug painting, a photo booth, hand massages and mini facials provided by the experts from Petit Spa L’Occitane.

Refreshments were offered on arrival, which made it the perfect way to spend a morning listening to Christmas music and making a start on Christmas shopping for many among the beautiful interiors of the famous shops of L’Occitane.  There were even amazing offers that were exclusive to this in-store event for anyone buying spa vouchers. The ladies were spoiled rotten for ideas and gifts! Like all their stores as soon as you entered you were greeted by the familiar and pleasant smell of their irresistible products. Personally, always conjuring up images of long lazy summer days spent in the South of France

We were lucky enough to test some of the new products they have exclusively released for the 2015 festive season. The most eagerly awaited was the collection born out of collaboration with Pierre Hermé, creator of Haute Pâtisserie. Sharing his taste for beautiful, sensual and rich aromatics, he has created the Jasmine Immortelle Neroli and Pamplemousee Rhubarbe collection that is going to be on every woman’s wish list this Christmas.

Once all the ladies were exhausted from their shopping extravaganza they were then treated to a mocktail and dessert master class. The talented Sugar Moo provided all the fun here. It was all delicious! There was even one huge red velvet cake, hand-made that was raffled off at the end of the event for one lucky winner!

Every single lady left with some presents bought, a goodie bag and a smile on their face!

Do not worry if you missed out! Keep a close eye on ExpatWoman.com as there will be another event held at their Mall Of The Emirates branch very soon! Do not miss out!

Testimonials

"Dear ExpatWoman,

Thanks so much for giving me a place at the L’Occitane event yesterday. I love their products and use them already so I really didn’t want to miss the opportunity.

I did get there however I couldn’t stay long enough to enjoy a massage or a facial. I did get to eat some delicious pudding though, and even took another jar home with my goody bag. I’m so thrilled with the goody bag; I recently bought a couple of products from the Immortelle range, so I am very pleased to get a couple of Immortelle minis in the bag.

Thanks for organizing such a lovely event, this is the first I’m attending with Expatwoman and I hope I can attend more of these.

Kind regards,
Yvette"
