Agree with the others that a blood test is needed (I've always had them yearly, never more often apart from right after my diagnosis). Also, explain your symptoms/feelings to your doctor as lack of energy, poor concentration and the like could as a result of something unrelated to your thyroid condition.
nazia23, I assume you have an underactive thyroid? If yes, you are probably on medication. Like Chocs01 said, get the thyroid function test done. Ideally, you should be getting this test done every 3 months (or every 6 months if your levels are stable). The symptoms you've described could be because of changes in your TSH, T3 or T4 levels. If that's the case, then you may need a change of dose. Or it could be something else.
It's best you get the test done and consult with your GP.
Hi
I have thyriod since 3 years now. Over the time, i realize i am not that active any more, nor do i remember anything which i read. i just cant concentrate. I am wondering if it is because of my thyroid. or i have become to lazy.
Just want to know if iam the odd case or anyone else have this kind of thoughts/symptons.
Tx naz
