I took a cheeky day of work today and treated myself to a little TLC! My sister and I enjoyed an amazing breakfast at Paul equipped with omelette, juice, bread oh yum! used our entertainer vouchers too so only paid for one! really scrumptious! I honestly think Paul is one of the nicest places to have breakfast in Dubai - I have never tried their food menu though, has anyone had a good main meal there?

Maybe it was the type of steak? I always get as mentioned before, the fillet - it's a bit more pricier but I've heard the rib eye and other cuts aren't as tender..

We went to the MOE branch. Didn't think the food was particulary good, we both had steaks.

Really? Which one did you go to? JBR or MOE? I always go to MOE as I have vouchers for it and I love their fillet steaks! Why didn't you enjoy? :(

looool no of course not! My friend had this dish and described it as heaven but we have very different food types so I don't want to end up going and ordering a dry piece of meat! Lol you're funny! I wouldn't go to Paul's for a steak, go to the Butchers shop or Meat company. Been to Butcher's shop and wasn't impressed. :(

I was happy as well that they had one voucher for breakfast. I had the tomato mozarella sandwich (very very nice). DH had one of those breakfastes with juice and they deducted my sandwich. Normally I think the salads are good also those oven baked pasta dishes are quite good (and fat ;)).

I'm planning on using my entertainer too so around 90 for two people won't be so bad, I'll definitely give it a try tonight thanks ladies!

MY DH and I had dinner there a couple of weeks ago - can't remember what we ate though as we have eaten out so much while waiting to get villa, then cooker connected etc... but I do remember saying we would go back again. I know I had the special that day - possibly chicken and it was lovely, and hubby would probably have chosen chicken too - and his was even better than mine as I tasted his too. I should have got my Entertainer book then as we ate out so much for a fortnight :-(

We used the entertainer vouchers. Honestly can't remember the price, around 70-80 aed I think per dish. Defo worth a try. Dh has had the steak a few times there and loves it. edited by Hotpot on 24/01/2011

I love Pauls! Prefer the one at Wafi as is more chilled out to the MOE one. Dh loved the steak and veg dish. Love the bread and the cakes too.

Their Salad Atlantique is lovely as is the bread...I happen to like olives! Is that the lettuce leaf with a token prawn combined with a mouth water synthetic out of a tub dressing? Nope smoked salmon and lettuce with a nice lemon dressing. Just right!

Yeah, I have to say, I'm not a big fan of Paul - either their breakfast or their lunch menus.

No worries, the boss doesn't know my EW username :) I've never tried their scrambled eggs and after that I don't think I will! What's good on their lunch menu?

The scrambled egg is an experience like no other, completely vile. Their poached eggs are normally over cooked and synthetic out of a tub hollandaise tastes like silicon. Bread served is normally full of olives, fine if you like olives. Their lunch menu is far better and hope your employer doesn't read EW seeing you bunked a day.
