Does anyone know of a maid company that's services include dog walking?

Appreciate any response and help.

JS, Pretty much all the pet sitters at HP have animals of their own and have regular training courses with local vets in how to deal with emergency situations should they arise. Everyone treats the pets they're looking after as if they were their own, to give them the best possible care whilst their owners are away. edited by Chocs01 on 10/11/2011 Chocs01, I heard how good they are from other people who used them before but I was more impressed when I tried them for cat sitting. I loved the notes she kept for me about each cat (what they ate, if they played, if she gave them hugs, if they used the litterbox, etc..). HP are excellent and I will never use other than them for cat sitting. The cat sitter who came to my house was wonderful and I totally trusted her after the introduction.. I knew when I left Dubai, that I am leaving my babies in good hands :) and yes, they must have pets too and I saw some pictures for their training courses at the vet on facebook :)

I won't use other than Homely Petz, to be honest. I have tried them last week when I was on vacation and the cat sitter was amazing and she clearly knows what she is doing and how to deal with cats. I believe Homely Petz recruits only people who has a good knowledge on how to deal with pets, what to do in case of emergency, where to take the pet if he looks sick, etc... I think maids are not trained to care for a pet... actually it annoys me when I keep seeing 2 maids sitting together near a wall next to my villa chatting and laughing with the dogs on their leash (the dogs sit and look very bored).. they are supposed to be walking the dogs while they are actually sitting doing everything together except walking the dogs!!! edited by JS on 09/11/2011 JS, Pretty much all the pet sitters at HP have animals of their own and have regular training courses with local vets in how to deal with emergency situations should they arise. homely petz 100%! they have been walking my dog for about a year now and i trust them completely, we also paid for a maid to come and clean once a week but she wasnt responsible for walking the dog... our full time maid moves in on saturday so will no longer be using homely petz but can still highly recommend them, Silvina and Claire in particular. to add- our maid will only walk the dog once a day whilst we are at work and will be fully trained by me.

I have stopped and ask maids where they lived and were they not taking the dog for a walk lol....they moved quickly but hey..not my business, the owner of the dog should know how to train the maid right??? but, we also see the maids in the park in a big group chatting and the kids not doing a thing...games girls, games with all those kiddies.

To be honest I'd be a bit cautious of using a service like that which covers 'general' errands and whatnot, because you don't know if the staff are trained to deal with animals. Plus with maids as well. It's all very well looking for someone to walk your dog, but what happens if there's an emergency or a problem with the animal? Will they know what to do and how to deal with it? ETA - they're not particularly cheap either. <em>edited by Chocs01 on 09/11/2011</em>
