For me the "maid threads" are something I look at...as I should maybe get a maid! I've been here for 3.5 years...I should maybe......nah I'm self sufficient...... I just bought me a little steam cleaner thing :-) ...... made my kitchen tiles look brilliant! When I have cleaned my flat maybe I will get a maid :-) I know what you mean I’ve been debating the maid issue for over a decade now, still on the fence about it I’m far too fussy, hygienic and compulsive to hand my home over to someone else. <em>edited by Frances on 27/01/2011</em>

stop reading them perhaps? just a tip.... sure from an outsider's viewpoint this can all look torturous to read however you have a stranger living in your house often looking after your family members - so any number of things can happen, taunt, concern, drive you mental.... what would be really entertaining is if the maids had their own forum as posted about all of us. now I'd be up for reading that on a daily basis ;-) Yeah but then I’d miss the one about the maid and the sir of the house or the maid and the madams teenager son or daughter. Oh I'm sure they have one, I get an earful every day from the maids in our building waiting curb side for the school bus they must think I’m one of them so they open up to me after all what self respecting madam would be up and out with her kids at 6.30 am waiting for school transportation eh?
