You can only sponsor domestic workers of certain nationalities, Europeans are not included. One way around this is to have the person sponsored by a company as an employee. A friend has an eastern European nanny sponsored by her employer. If you or your husband work, you could try asking if they will be able to do this for you. Essentially the nanny would be considered an employee of the company and would be hired out to you.
Hi! I was wondering if anyone has information if its possible/legal to sponsor an Au Pair from Germany or Austria in the UAE. I am portuguese from nationality and would like that my son would keep in contact with a native German speaker.
In case its possible, how can this be done?
