Mods Pls pls pls don't move this to pets where no one will see it?
Can anyone recommend a company to do this that will be kind to a poor miserable travel sick pup who will definitely throw up 40 mins into the trip to the airport?
We are sending our dog to the quarantine station in Sydney as they always have room and we STILL don't know whether it is Brisbane/Perth/Singapore/Qatar...don't start me, just stick a pin in a map and heck, we could be ending up there :)
So as no one we know lives in Sydney, our best bet is probably going to be paying someone to pop her on a flight to our eventual city of residence. But who? Anyone have a personal recommendation?
Please?

PMSL. Don't know about class. You should see me after a couple of drinks ;). Hmmm, I might have just the house.... LOL Seriously, though the agistment business around here is being eaten up by property developments. Don't know how long it is since you've been out this way, but if it's more than a couple of years, you will be very surprised. Such a shame...we bought here because of the space, then they went and re-zoned everything. Still, it's nice and central and just a hop, skip and a drive to the Sunshine Coast... Good luck with Dogtainers. I hope they can help you.

YESSSSS! She shoots, she scores!!!!!! :) :) You have saved me a LOT of trouble though, DD is super keen on horsies and I was planning on maybe looking for another house out at Horsy Downs so she could keep a pony ;) There's no way you're a fit as a resident of Gary with a Gas problem. Too much Class as opposed to Klarse Just can't see it myself :) Have emailed dogtainers and we'll see what they say. Can only try! Thanks again for your help so much. Appreciate it.

Haha, took me a while to get those. You are close. The school is at hairless Hills. The suburb is ... deleted. And re your pup, they may be happy to just crate her to the airport for you, I'm not sure... edited by Buy me a Pony on 10/02/2011 edited by Buy me a Pony on 10/02/2011

Oooh oooh oooh BMAP, ta. I just need someone to collect her and gently put her on yet another plane within Australia. Either myself or a relative will def. be there at the other end to collect her. Even if we get stuck with another overseas posting, she will stay in Australia with a family member. And on another topic entirely - friends that are not friends really, my guess, before the site went down, assuming you meant inner city suburbs was Hills with no hair... (outer suburbs I get another guess and its not Gary with a gas problem) If nothing else, this will give you a laugh!

Sam - Check these guys out: http://www.dogtainers.com.au/ I'm pretty sure they were the crowd we used to get our pooch from Sydney to Brisbane and they were good. Nothing like the distances you are talking about though, but worth sussing them out. They collected our dog from the vet's as (Murphy's Law) she got a tick the day before we were due to leave Sydney. And they delivered her from the airport to our new house too I think.
