A friend of my hubby recommended the only gift I have ever bought for him that he has been impressed by! Perfect gift for the geeky guy that lives off his tv downloads - instead of using an external hard drive you can network your tv (and photos or whatever - we only use it for TV) to an ipad to make it like a 'smart home' (or in our case, a smart ar% home...).
So we use the ipad as a big remote to scroll through all the mad men (or top gear..zzzzz) - well worth getting!! I just paid for the labour, so worked out really reasonable.

its quite easy to use to watch all the stuff you download rather than bothering with the rubbish on here (if you download stuff that is!). But yeah its a man thing! :-)

Well i just called him up and he came and transferred all our downloads (we have all the seasons of courgar town, mad men, desperate housewives etc - everything he downloads basically!) into one place and then networked it to the playstation to make it into a library, and then he turned the ipad into a smart remote. I didn't have to do anything apart from tell him where stuff was saved! Even our nanny uses it to put Barney etc on for the kids. His number is 050 6942412, Sterling Engineering

NO! I don't love him that much! He already had one. We hooked up the playstation too for when he has the ipad with him. I think you can use any of the computer games system things. (Not sure) I used a smart technology integrator, a Welsh guy called Nathan.

Did you buy an ipad as part of the package?! Who did you use?
