Right just phoned the 'gas man' am now very confused.

I understand that a refil is 115aed, but how much is the bottle (and does that come with gas?) or is it bottle + gas?

I am moving shortly but will not have gas in the new house so I am trying to find out how much I can sell my full gas bottle for to the next tennant.

thanks Choccs01 and jillp, I rang the gas people again the deposit is 520 for a new cannister with regulator and a refill is 115 but they will only give me 125 for the bottle to return it. Where we're moving to doesn't have a gas pipe into the kitchen so I need to get rid. I am selling my cooker hopefully to the new tennant of this villa and just want to calculate the price of the bottle in with the cooker. thanks so much for your swift responses.

I'm guessing you will havemains gas at your next place. It's been about 2 years since I sold our gas bottle (with about 75% gas in it) - I think I got either 100 or 150 aed for it. Mind you there is someone on Dubizzle selling a cooker, microwave and gas bottle for 250aed just now.....

The gas guys should be able to come and collect your current gas bottle and give you the deposit for the bottle back. Or, why don't you just take it with you?
