check out the details on http://foodintolerancetest.ae or www.easternbiotech.com, their price is reasonable, AED 1700. Many of my office colleagues has done it and they (including me) find really worth. Go through the detailed report to understand better and change your diet plan accordingly. You can book appointment through 04 3692061 or ask them to arrange home sampling.

The egg in baking you can replace with"egg replacer" which the organic store sells "orgran" is the brand. Vegan sites will also have other suggestions, I've heard you can use a tblspn of apple sauce in baking works. If you want to do a custard just use the yolk and add some cornstarch to help thicken..... Tofu scramble instead of eggs for breakfast? Casein is mostly in diary products isn't it? Organic store has lots of milk substitutes, I like oat and almond, though my nephews fav was hazelnut milk Wake I believe is a seaweed, found in Japanese seaweed, agar is a setting agent also derived from seaweed ...interesting you have 2 seaweeds in your reds, cola nut is in coke, or "natural" cokes.

I wish! In order....these are all my "reds" which means give up completely. Casein -the highest by far; Cola nut ?; Red kidney beans; egg white; Turnip; Goats milk; Agar Agar ?; Peas; cows milk; mixed spices; sheeps milk; clam; spelt; Alga wakame?. 3 "yellows", ie reduce or rotate: potato, cinnamon, mussel - no problems there. The ones that will be an issue are the casein, egg whites and the dairy. I've booked an appointment with Dr Lanalle to discuss it and get some suggestions on how to do it. Any thoughts much appreciated!! thanks

Is that the only thing you're intolerant to?

Just an update on this....I had the test done last week - blood taken at wellwoman clinic and paid Dhs 1700, far cheaper than others around. Got my report today and its so informative and makes sense. You get a quantitative report, better than just getting the red column of things to avoid, which is what i got on my last one. This one actually shows you how high your reaction is, so it gives you much more info. In the back there is general info on food allergies as well as a table showing you alternatives to the most common things that cause problems. I did the one wiht 200+ food items. Now...just have to figure out how to cut those egg whites out of my morning poached egg!! :((
