Hello ladies,
We are a family of 3, husband me and a 2 year old boy. We are considering buying an apartment either in greens or executive tower(business bay). Have seen both properties and wanted feedback about greens as to how is the in general maintenance since it's an older property. How is the area and is it worth investing in greens.
Executive towers is a newer property so maintenance is good but still confused between the 2. Any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks

The Greens without a doubt. you may need to update your apartment internally, but the structure is sound, especially in the older blocks and the facilities are great, especially for children.

I am currently staying at The Greens with my husband, a 3year old and a 3 month old baby. Though the units are not that big, but i really love this area. It has ample greens, and parks for the kids to runabout. Emaar does maintain the communtiy welll... Definitely a place for families.

I havent lived in Business Bay so cannot comment, but The Greens is great. Emaar do look after the properties and the communal areas are normally well kept. I think The Greens has just been voted one of the best places to live in Dubai, it has easy access and everything you need on your doorstep. It was voted the best place to live. I have lived there for 4 years and wouldn't live anywhere else All the Ramadan decorations are lit up at night. It looks lovely

We looked at both when we were buying recently and picked The Greens in the end, actually The Views. It was the lack of noise, the green spaces, the tight security and the sense of community that led to our decision. While the apartments in Executive Towers are big and the buildings relatively new, we felt it had a more transient and less personal feel. However, it does seem to have lots of amenities and is very well located. It also felt very like JBR to us (same developer), with the lack of reception areas and the warren of lift lobbies and I don't think the JBR properties have held their value well, which wouldn't have mattered if we were renting but buying is a bit different. We're really happy with our decision but our situation is different to yours. We don't have children and so don't need lots of space and after 6 years in the very noisy Marina we were craving some peace and quiet and green spaces. Good luck with your choice and your purchase! FFx
