Emirates job offer doubt

Hi everyone!

I recently received an offer letter for an EK04 position(customer service)but have been mildly concerned about it as I received the offer after only an online assessment. The email address is legit(from @emirates.com) and was for a position that I actually applied for. The content of the offer letter seemed reasonable and didn't ask me for any bank/ID details, just outlined the pay and steps for joining. I had to fill out a basic form stating that I accept the position. The status of my application on Emirates' career page also reflects my current status. Everything seems well and good but, I guess I just feel a bit surprised that such a large company didn't even require me to come in for a face-to-face interview before selecting me. The online assessment did have a recorded video section of me answering interview questions, so there's that.

These days I'm just waiting for a call from them. I'm just wondering if anyone has gone through/know someone who has gone through such a quick selection process and that this is not a huge red flag. Any thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks~

Doesn't seem like a red flag If the status of your offer letter reflects the same status on your official online application in the Emirates career portal, then you likely don't have to worry about...
Thanks a lot for your in depth reply!! Loll, wow, how annoying is that? I guess he'll do a good job if he could charm them all! Still sucks though. I've received further emails from the onboarding agent and so far everything checks out. Fingers-crossed it'll all turn out well! I've actually applied loads of times previously for Emirates, I think God asnwered my prayers this time around :D You just gotta keep trying I guess! Thanks again for your input! <3

Doesn't seem like a red flag If the status of your offer letter reflects the same status on your official online application in the Emirates career portal, then you likely don't have to worry about it. Maybe it's just one of those jobs where a recorded interview was all it required. I applied for Emirates twice - one was for a travel agent role and I had to go through several in-person rounds of interviews up until the very end (the role ultimately went to the handsome Western man who charmed the all-female hiring panel LOL. Myself and the other applicants could see it coming from a mile away). I didn't get the role and the same status was reflected on my application in the Emirates career portal. The second was for a different role, and again my status in the hiring process was reflected on my online application. I believe you don't have to worry :)
