It doesnt matter if i get her. Abu Dhabi will do nothing. By law she has 14 days left to leave to country so they cant do anything until the time has run out. Can only report her as absconded after this time. Its all different to Dubai.

The next time you get a call, let them know the situation and ask them to hold her there whilst you go and get her. I read your other posts, and she has a brother - despite what he is telling you - she is staying with him.

Un bl@@dy believable. Authorities really should be a bit more helpful with these runaways. Still think they should be made to pay a security deposit themselves, they might just think twice about doing one, when they will lose money. Could you not go and get her from this lady?

Not so long ago i found out my maid has been working at other houses. So we cancelled her visa (AD visa) and they auto put a ban on her for 12 months. They would not hold her in a cell till her flight, so she ran away. She now has 28 days to leave country. We cant report her as absconded till this passes. A lady phones my DH up says Aida my ex maid has given u as a reference haha couldnt believe it. So shes looking for work even though we have her passport and shes banned lol Dh explained the situation and the woman was very understanding and will now not employ her. I cant believe the AD immagration wont help out as shes still illegally looking and working at houses. No wonder there are so many illegal maids in the UAE. so if u get approached by a phillapina 46 yrs old called Aida dont employ her.
