Help please! We have a Muslim Levant Arabic wedding to go to (mixed gender) and I'm so stuck with what to wear. I thought a jalabiya would do, but all the ones I have are too 'homey'. Does anyone know where I can buy a reasonably priced but 'fancy looking' one? Or a long kaftan type thing? Must be full length...

Or if you have any other ideas about what to wear let me know - otherwise I'm going to end up looking like I'm funeral-bound as the only long skirt I have is black, as are the matching tops :(

You can try Kashka. They always seem to have reasonably priced, pretty looking outfits in there.

There are some nice stores in MOE that sell Jalabiya and abaya--just upstairs above the du kiosk near the food court. Saw some lovely ones there that you could check out. Good luck.
