So I have two test results on my pregnancy tests...I know I should see a doctor. But I'm scared if I can handle two (no1 15months old), and how this will be. I had one miscarriage and am scared to have another one..My head is already full of weird questions! What did you do to calm yourself down?

The likelyhood of you beeing pregnant is quite large and I can only agree with happymommy. However you shouldn't stress yourself. I'm sure you are a great mum now and if there is second one you will grow into the role of being a great mum for two. Women are designed to cope with this and are great in gaining more and more strength. Having had one miscarriage is no indication for further ones. I had experieced the same but fell pregnant again soon after and 9 months later I could welcome our beautiful little baby. So don't let it scare you as it is not the norm. Wishing you all the best!

Thanks for your replies..I just made the test because I was very moody and have bought tons of sweets, which I only do when I`m pregnant. Plus I love to have a glass of wine, but wouldn`t drink if I`m pregnant. I was soo moody, that I slept the last 1.5 hours. Also a sign that I`m pregnant. Yes, I will do an appointment, just needed someone to kick my ask. And yes, many mums do it. Thank you!

False negative results are far more common than false positives in home pregnancy test kits. So if you had one test showing positive you can be pretty sure that you are, even if you get another test showing negative. The doctor can tell you for sure, and I'd go asap. The earlier you know what's going on, the more time you have to prepare and come to terms with it. I'm sure deep inside you already know anyway. ;) And I'm sure after the first shock has passed you'll realize that it's not that bad. A lot of moms dealt with 2 LOs and so can you. H**l, when I was pregnant with my (only) DD was was scared s***less and thought I could never be a mom. But now it's great and I couldn't be happier. You grow with your tasks, right..?

how early are you doing these tests? I did one at 3 weeks past "doing it" and it was negative, but didn't believe it, so waited until 5 weeks and it was positive. The earlier you do them, the more room for error there is. Being in denial isn't going to help either way - lots of us kind of wished we hadn't got pg so quickly after the first (I was pregant again when DD was 13 months old), but hey, these things happen and unless you are serious about a termination, the earlier you come to terms with it, the better. In light of your previous miscarriage (which only very rarely has any effect on subsequent pregnancies), maybe just relax a bit and do another test around the 8 week mark - there's no rush, after all.
