What do do when your maid get's to comfy was the thread that got me into EW (sorry Seasurf)... so that would have to be the 'standout' thread of 2010 for me on the main forum. On the BB&T forum, spongemonkey started a great thread on things you wish you knew before you had children - some lovely thoughts on that one! ahhhhh posted the link.. http://www.expatwoman.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=122260&Page=0 The Too Comfy Maid one was the standout for me too. Classic EW.

I confess to being a keen participant and will never know if I contibuted to the inevitable ban.....I do miss Roger and Bev.... This lady that said there was a couple who had lost their job, had no money and was staying in a room in someones apartment. She had a list of foodstuff that people could donate.Some ladies on here were offering money, then figured out it was a scam. Not sure how many people got ripped off Oh yaaaaaah. We had exchanged e-mails and when I asked her about a time and place to meet, I never heard from her again. How could someone succeed in this type of scam? Did anyone get to give her their donations? I could see it being a scam if she wanted the stuff for herself, but not if she didn't take anything. Maybe an attention seeker?

She was really quite sweet. Doncha know who you're dealing with !! lol One of my favourites for never ending excitement was the dishwashing thread - how do you do yours ? then enter the "tea towels are unhealthy" brigade lolol Oh yea..... I really want to know what happened. The OP put a camera outside the son's room over a weekend and noticed son and maid go into his room a few times, once holding hands. Maid got booted and sent packing, son threw a massive teenage strop, maid then contacted to say she pregnant. Don't know what happened after that. Pregnant? Ah I missed that part. Did the one that told her ma'am that she has a big behind also claim to be pregnant with the DH's child? Seems to be quite a trend. Quite a fertile bunch these gals are. Poor lady :-( I feel for her. her son probably hate her right now. Hope the maid is not really pregnant.
