Hi October ladies, how are you all doing? I'm due on 4th Oct with my 2nd girl (1st is 3.5 yrs). Have been blessed with a very easy pregnancy so far but am suffering from LOTS of bad heartburn at the moment. Not really sure what to do about it, milk doesn't seem to help much :o( Is anyone of you living in or near the Ranches and fancies a swim one afternoon? Take care and good luck to all of you!

Hi everyone! I haven't been on the October thread in a while, I really don't know where the time has gone! I'm 33 weeks at the moment, can't believe it's only 7 to go. I've been feeling pretty good, aside from hip pain which I've had since 4 months pretty much and a recent development of pain in my pubic bone at night. Other than that though, everything is fine and dandy! I'm having a doula too and am doing hypnobirthing which I am very excited about! Am thinking of going to the Bumps n Babes meeting too. I was going to go to the one which was on in Mirdiff CC but if some other October ladies are heading to Marina Mall then I might just do that too. It would be great to get to know some of you around the same EDDs! :-)

yeah, and now i read on forum somewhere that dr. george is also leaving, leaving only 2 OB's behind actually when i asked doc, will u let me pass my due date, she said i'll check u on 38th week and then we'll decide. so that's y i was bit curious will she let me pass my due date. 10 days sound good no, we didn't found what's it, like last time. so i'l tell u in october wether it's a boy or girl :)

Yeah that's what my dh said...alot of other doctors as well have left there. She left me 10 days overdue. As had no probs and size was fine. Good luck with it all. Did you find out what you are having ?

ohh so u r a september mom now :), congratulations yes am at AH too, and with dr. Raj. first time i had dr. Grace but she left AH sorry but a little personal question, did dr. raj tried for VBAC for ur 2nd DD? this time i am trying for VBAC, so hope everything goes smooth No had too many complications and a rather traumatic first time in the uk with my 1 st ...she left me well over due and had a sweep but she didn't budge.Also my first had strep b ... I think dr raj is grt but this time round she seems a little stressed and not as relaxed as when she delivered my 2 nd. Did she suggest the vbac ? Good luck I wished I could have delivered natural :( when are u due?

I had my scan too...this is my 3 rd and they said his big lol so his coming out early on the 22 nd September. My doc is dr Raj at the american...she delivered my 2 nd as well by c section .... Who's ure doc? Are u at the American too?

Hi all, seems all october moms r quite busy or on vacations i had my 32nd week scan, baby is the perfect size, unlike my first one who was huge :) so much want to pack hospital bag, and get ready, but i know it's too early who is ur doc fairy??

Hi I have 2 dd at the mo a 10 yr old and a 2 yr old and expecting a boy this time :) I'm due 29 th but they normally leave me a week after due date will be having c section at AH ...so may see u at hospital :) I might pop my lo in nursery twice a week so she can start mixing with other lo s around Xmas time...

Hi Ladies!! My due date is 24 Oct and this is my 1st pregnancy. Have just moved to UAE and am currently staying in Fujairah. Im looking for a hospital to have my check-ups and scans. Was recommended the City Hospital, any comments about the hospital? I have been hearing a lot about the health insurance, can someone or anyone explain this system to me? Pls excuse the gazillion questions. hehehe... Am a bit lost here.. Hope everyone is doing great with their pregnancy!!! =)

Back to feeling tired :(.... I guess it must be the heat! Sunny28 - congrats on your DD walking. She must be keeping you busy on ur toes now.... I am not getting much of a walk these days and am afraid will turn into a big, fat potato (which I already think I have become!). Quite happy about the constant kicking though, DH can also feel them now :)

Hi ladies im due at the end of september. No one is hardly replying to the september thread :( Anyhow this is my 3rd LO im 30 y rs old have a 10 yr old and a 2 yr old girls and the 3rd one due is a boy yayyyyyy Im at the AH with Dr Raj she deliovered my previous dd 2 yrs ago by c section. Ill prob end up being an october mummy as ill be having another c section and they normally leave me 10 days over. Congrats to all!!! Are you ladies having a meet up as i dont know any other pregnant mums be nice to meet a few if all our babies are going to be born around the same time. :)

Just thought of stirring up the thread a wee bit.... How is it going with all of u Oct moms? I have started feeling the kicks and movements, which make me super happy :))).... sadly DH can't feel anything till yet :(. Am holding on to the shopping bit till the summer sales (a gr8 idea from someone from the forum), but my essential list keeps getting longer by the minute (it's already 7 pages!). Hi October mummies! I'm due Oct 19 with my second DS. Hope your pregnancies are going well and you're all feeling great by now. Express - Dr George is a fetal med specialist and wonderful if you don't want the FMC. We'll be seeing him on thurs for our 20 week scan and can't wait!

A big warm congratulations to you all! Am due 19Nov11. Hitting 15 weeks on Tuesday. First baby. Loads of nausea and vomiting. Eating weird, can eat so little variety, most things will NOT stay down. Am above 35, so prefer a lot of scans. I had my 1st one at 7wks, 2nd one at 13wks, and last one was the NT scan at 13wks. Had bad experience with Dr Pour Mirza, Dubai Fetal & Genetic Medical Centre. Posted my opinion on him on another thread if you type pour mirza you will get. So now I am looking for another place to do a 16wk screening test for DS. Does look like a Dr George Michailidus does it at AH. Also need to do a morphology scan at 21wks - obviously again want to avoid Fetal & Genetic Medical Centre. Any one that is using another place to do these let me know. I am with Dr Anna at DLC, at first I thought it was not gonna work, but she was actually very good when hubby went along for 2nd scan. Also with Bupa Gold and direct billing at DLC is just awesome. Hope also to join some 'cold chocolate' mornings at IBM or other. Take great care.
