SA-Lost marriage certificate

Hi SA Ladies
Wondering if you could give me some advise, we sent our original marriage certificates(normal and unabridged) to the lebanese embassy in SA, to register our marriage. They sent the paper work to Lebanon and then back to SA, and we have found out last week that the papers are now lost!!
I need to go onto my husbands sponsorship asap and they are requesting for the original unabridged certficate, they're not accepting a copy.
What is the quickest way to get another certificate? The SA embassy here says it will take up to 6 months for them to get another one:( Super stressed!
