Hi y'all,

We are currently in the process of moving from Dubai :( to Portugal :) but as part of this we need a letter from the British Embassy stating that I was a resident there, my husband is having kittens as he thinks the Embassy will not be interested in doing this for us...

So please please please, does anyone know anyone at the Embassy who could help us with this ...

Mentioning "embassy" and "helpful" in the same sentence is just plain ironic!!! LOL Otherwise I do not think the embassy does this... your residency is proven by your residency visa in your passport....if not enough then UAE Immigration can give a certificate...
