Hi Ladies,

I've been searching online for a female sarcoma specialist in London but I haven't found any at all. Does anyone know any good female sarcoma specialists there??

Thank you in advance

Thank you so much ladies, i'm sorry for the late reply. I've spoken to Dr Maria already but she only deals with children up to the age of 19. But Thinkgymabob thank you so much, I've given a call to Dr Strauss and have an appointment with her. Thanks again ladies and really do appreciate it. :)

My son is a registered nurse at university college hospital London. He is a nurse on the oncology unit T16 north ( speciality sarcoma). He works alongside three sarcoma consultants, two of these consultants are named Dr Beatrice Seddon and Dr Sandra Strauss. Any information can be found on the UCLH website my son recommends both of these female consultants. Also a useful link is the London sarcoma service website. Hope this information is helpful to you.

I've already checked google, they were mostly men and the female specialists were for a specific cancer such as breast cancer but haven't found any for sarcoma. edited by UAE2012 on 06/08/2011

Thank you Princess I, I'll definitely contact them. I also like someone that has been recommended as I had a bad experience with my first surgeon. I have a second professor now but want to change for a female specialist.

you could try contacting oen of the royal colleges - am not sure if this speciality fits in to Royal college of surgeons, Royal college of physicians or Royal college of Radiologist. They should all be able to provide lists of specialists. Good luck.
