Hello, I went to Wafi City, Cleopatra's Pool a few weekends ago to just use the pool, it was lovely and so quiet! So a big pool all to ones-self! Only AED 70 per person, might be cheaper for children.

Most of the hotels offer day visit rates which allow you to use the pool and facilities, and they have chilled water and some also have cooled tiles by the pool. You would need one with a kids' pool, right? Here's a link for hotels with a pool: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotels-g295424-zfa3-Dubai-Hotels.html There's also The Aviation Club which has chilled pools including a kids' pool. I know thay have daily rates, you could call them to see if they have half day rates. http://www.aviationclub.ae/ I've been to The Aviation Club as a guest a few times and I can vouch for their facilities. It's very clean, has good service, lots of seats by the pool, amenities in the changerooms.
